Vtg. American Folk Art Hand Carved Wood Articulated Santa Claus Figurine Patriot

Painted with red pants that have white stripes and blue and white stars, white boots, an off white shirt with red suspenders and a black toque with a red pompom. The details are great from his white beard to his wire rimmed glasses, the wrinkles in his face and forehead and the twinkle in his eye. This Santa would be the center of attention in any country kitchen or sitting area and a fabulous addition to any folk art collection. He is certainly a statement piece at approx 11” tall in a seated position to about 20" in total length and weighing close to 2 pounds. It's in great condition and although the wood seems aged I don't know the exact age but is certainly a work of art. There is a partial tag that reads Care & Wonder Co which research shows is located in Santa Fe Springs, CA. Each piece is a one of a kind. I have not been able to find out anything about the company other than its location in California. Please see photos for full condition. We would be happy to supply more photos to confirm condition.
