Description: VTG '50s Gene Shelly Rockabilly Glam All-over-sequins Pure Wool Cardi sz Medium? Awesome piece in excellent vintage condition. Very clean. The only tiny flaw we identified is a small snag on the inside back (see last pic). Hand knitted (!) and sequined all over. It does have stretch.In our opinion, the overall color is a sophisticated champagne / peach - base wool is a pale yellow and sequins appear to be sort of an iridescent ivory color that reflects the soft yellow of the wool creating a lovely, uncommon coloristic effect.Open front, no pockets, unlined. Raglan sleeves appear to be 3/4 length. Absent a size tag, we estimate this to be a current women size Medium but it might fit a Large, too, depending on one's fit preference. For reference, the mannequin form is 34" bust, 26" waist and this cardi is a loose fit.Approximate Measurements of the flat item are captured in the 2nd pic - please review them carefully and ask any questions you may have, to avoid returns.
