Description: Vtg 40s 50s French Windowpane Fabric White on Gray 6 Yards MADE IN FRANCE Vintage fabric. Stamped MADE IN FRANCE. Light weight cotton or blend (possibly a bit of rayon or linen). Measures 42 inches from selvage to selvage and is 6 yards in length. Excellent unused condition; there are no stains, holes or rips. Lovely, crisp but fluid fabric. The windowpane design is woven, not printed. This is a high quality textile. There is enough yardage to make a gorgeous swing or fifties style dress. Would be great with some colorful plastic or Bakelite buttons (or glass rhinestones). To gauge weight: piece is a tad over 6 yards in length and weighs roughly 18 ounces.
