Description: Cleaning out the closet of items I'll sadly probably not use again. I've had these for 25+ years but only used them for a few days of ice climbing. I'm also listing an identical pair in blue (I'm big with duplicates, being a former cave diver). The color of these is called "mango". I don't see any signs of wear, all zippers work, elastic in shoulder straps is stretchy, etc. An environment of snow is pretty easy on clothing, as long as you're careful with your crampons. This was Patagonia's top-of-the-line gear for alpine pursuits. Equally good for backcountry skiing. Note that the previous iteration of this product line was the Gridman (1990-1992), but the two names are often (but incorrectly) interchanged. Fabric has embedded white threads of aramid material (aka Kevlar) for abrasion and tear resistance. Full-length, separating leg zippers; great for putting on your bibs in camp without taking off your boots and crampons. Gore-Tex (3-layer) for wind and water resistance. High chest cut to retain core heat. Zippered waist and chest pockets (harness-compatible). Elastic cord at leg bottoms to adjusting the fit to your boots.
