Description: Vtg 1980's Tamiya The Frog RC Car W/ Circus 2 Transponder/Receiver & Extra Tires Estate sale find: for sale is this vintage Tamiya The Frog style RC car in used / unknown working condition. Also included is a 2-channel RC transponder via Circus Hobbies Inc in Las Vegas and a Circus 2-channel receiver (NER-722X) inside the car’s center. Connected to this receiver is an on/off switch and then a battery pack that holds 4 AA batteries but the end of the plastic cradle is broken off. Overall, the car is in used condition with dings, scratches, old tape remnants, dust, dirt, grease, worn tires and the possibility of additional broken or missing parts not noted here, as I’m not an expert on this RC item. Also of note, the clear plastic shell exterior has 1 corner (top right) damaged that is not able to then connect to a snap pin. The 1 antenna appears to have a weak solder on the wire at 1 point as well. For the (Circus 2) 2-Channel transponder, I put 8 AA batteries inside to test and when the power was switched to on, the little indicator line moved to between 6-8 in the window. Also included in this lot is a group of spare tires as seen in the photos in various styles and condition. No battery pack or AA batteries are included.
