Description: This little ultraportable tuned 50 this year. It was recently serviced, has a new-ish black/red ribbon and brand new feet. This was the last year where the carriage shell was still made from metal. Brother would shift to a plastic carriage shell the following year. Meant to be light, portable and cost-efficient, this model did not have a paper holder or tabulator. The only thing missing is the metal badge on the right frame that would have shown the color order(starting from the bottom going up: black, white and red) for the ribbon selector switch. And there is one noticeable grouping of scratches on the bottom of the machine. Other than that, there are very small paint scratches and a few chips, but no heavy cosmetic damage. The machine has a nice, snappy feel to it and has a lovely pastel yellow metal body with a slightly darker pastel yellow plastic clamshell case/cover. The cover has no cracks and is in great condition. Please review all pictures closely as they make up the bulk of the item’s cosmetic condition description. Feel free to ask any questions prior to purchase. All sales final. A general instruction manual can be viewed/downloaded here: https://site.xavier.edu/polt/typewriters/BrotherEchelon66.pdf
