No envelope. This is an original card - suitable for framing. It is not a newer reprint or a reproduction. Marcel Proust was a French novelist, best known for his 3000 page masterpiece À la recherche du temps perdu (Remembrance of Things Past or In Search of Lost Time), a pseudo-autobiographical novel told mostly in a stream-of-consciousness style. Acquired about 25 years ago from the estate of a big collector who traveled the world and had some very scarce paper items. This will be shipped in an envelope between paperboard sheets as protection; stiffeners may not be used (per USPS regulations) at this shipping rate.
