Description: * vintage bowl made by Anderson Design in 1970s-1980s* Andersen Design is an American designer craftsmen studio established in 1952 in Maine, by Weston and Brenda Andersen* according to the Anderson Design website, this form was designed by Weston Anderson between 1958 and 1968 and it is called medium salad bowl.* round bowl with curved rim with hand-painted Birch Tree Pattern * the website attributes this pattern to the work of Brenda, most likely in 1980s. This "turquoise and coral" color pallet is a very rare color scheme. * marked "AD" CONDITION* the bowl has a small break on the rim which seems to take place during manufacturing process. It looks like the split in clay was there before the bowl was glazed. Some glaze is overlaid on top of the crack and on the inner rim as well, please see the last two photos.* otherwise, the bowl in good used vintage condition and shows signs of normal use. No cracks or chips with some pinholes, manufacturing dots and bumps, minimal loss of color, minor scratches on the surface.* sold as-is.
