THE MID-CENTURY MODERN STYLE BUILDING, COMPLETED IN 1965, WAS ENVISIONED AND DESIGNED BY ITALIAN ARCHITECT, LUIGI MORETTI. THE GOAL WAS THAT "EAST" WOULD SERVE AS "THE TOWN" IN THE BIGGER "GARDEN CITY" - THE WATERGATE COMPLEX - OVERLOOKING THE POTOMAC RIVER. PC "new" to extent it is New Old Stock, has not been used in any manner, and remains in MINT condition. This postcard is in unused, pristine condition, direct from the Curt Teich archives. It has been in our possession for approximately 15 years ... long before the Curteich digitally archived images found their permanent home with The Newberry Institute. At the time of our acquisition, the Lake County Discovery Museum in IL was the custodian of the company's records, having served in that capacity since 1982.
