I have not been able to locate a hand painted version online, so I don't know if this has been modified by the previous owner or if it is just a rare find. Either way, it's a really cool set and the details are impressive! All pieces appear to be in good shape with the exception of one that has a cracked bottom. Individual pieces are sold on Ebay should you choose to replace it. Vintage and antique items have been used and well loved and as a result often show signs of wear.
