Description: Vintage 1960s Nebraska Travel Fun Ephemera Shamrock Hotel Northwestern Bell Telephone These two vintage travel guides, provided by the Shamrock Hotel in Omaha, feature fun places to go and things to do in the great state of Nebraska. They also list special monthly events and chart out the mileage between towns. Northwestern Bell Telephone Company is printed at the bottom of the cover page. On the back is important information about using various phone services for a happier trip and easier travel. Remember, handy outdoor phones along the way help you to keep in touch. Mrs. Edna believes that they may date to 1966 or earlier, because Come back in 1967 - help us celebrate Nebraska's Centennial Year is printed on the inside of both guides. They are printed on both sides on a medium to heavy weight stock paper. They are in good to very pre-owned vintage condition. There are signs of wear from age, use and storage, which includes but is not limited to ripples in the paper and a few small spots/stains. Please see my pictures, they are part of the description.
