(I don't know if this is the same "Mego Corporation " that made all those great action figures in the 1970's?) The original toy was a vinyl doll that danced on a tin base. The tin litho base was decorated like a checkerboard - a reference to singer Chubby Checker, who had a # 1 hit with the song, "The Twist." (Although he did NOT sing, "The Peppermint Twist" - that would be Joey Dee & The Starliters.) This box measures just under 13 inches long. It is 5 & 3/8 inches wide and 3 & 3/8 inches deep. The condition is FAIR. It has some scattered "wear & tear", soiling, moisture stains, creases, small tears and fading in some areas. No writing or split corners. It still displays nicely.
