VTG 1940s Mens Double Breasted Overcoat Alpaca Timme & Son TUFT NY Coat Belt 44

Description: Men's True Vintage Light Brown Overcoat 1940s Very thick & very warm overcoat with Alpaca collar & liningWith original tag inside reads "Timme & Son New York", "ALPACA PLE" & "Dongora Quality Tailored" with belt.I have owned this overcoat for more than 30+ years & finally de-cluttering. I have attempted to be as transparent as possible.All buttons are original in very good condition (see photos). The front pockets are also in very good condition. The only age-related wear is discoloration on the front coat (see photos) which is covered when you button the front of the coatThat is the only flaw I have been able to locate. Made of wool fabric (this is an assumption as there is no tag)Fastens down front with 3 large round original plastic buttons.
