Vtech V.Smile Console 6122, Keyboard, 2 Controllers, & 14 Game Cartridges WORKS!

NOTE: The words on the console and 1 controller are in Spanish.It doesn't talk to you in Spanish as long as you're using the 12 English ones.There are 2 Cartridges that are in Spanish (see photo 20).Notice that you are getting The Little Mermaid in both languages. Working Condition.First, the cosmetics.Everything looks great with only some mild scuffs/scratches.Looks well taken care of.Some leftover tape residue on the bottom of 1 controller (photo 12).We wiped everything down but didn't get in the crevices well.The 2 Spanish Cartridges have dents on the corner (still working though). Now onto how it works.All the functions, buttons, keys, etc. work perfectly.It occasionally has the typical cartridge loading problem.This is a common occurrence with cartridges like this.Usually people blow into the crevice to move dust from the contacts.We went through every one of these with compressed air.Some were doing just what we said.... not engaging.They were then all tested twice and all engaged every time.If one doesn't connect, just do what we described.MORE ON THAT (TIPS):Sometimes if it doesn't connect, the console will freeze.Meaning it may not come on or something like that.You will have to take a battery out to reset it.Kind of like restarting a computer.Make sure to blow out the contacts on the cartridge.Reinsert it in and then turn the console on.A couple of the cartridges need to be push backwards a little.Meaning towards the unit.Having said that, after checking all twice, there were no problems.Those are just tips in case you run into one not working.Because they all work, no worries.ANOTHER TIP:Always turn the unit off (moon button) before removing cartridges.Insert next cartridge and then turn on the unit (sun button).One last thing....
