My camera in video mode makes a noise like a phone ringing so that is what you hear, nothing wrong with the item. This is in very good clean condition, and appears to have no damage and complete. Has been in a non-smoking pet free home. It does not come with its original box. It is recommended for kids 4-8 years old. I don't think I put him in the dinosaur form correctly. I have found instructions that I printed out that you will get. It is made of metal and plastic and transforms from a race car to a T-Rex dinosaur, like a Transformer toy would do. It can go up to 20 ft when you wind and release, and has over 25 sounds and phrases that you just push a button to listen. When in the form of the dinosaur it will roar and talk about the dinosaur, and when in the form of the car it will make varooom race sounds with phrases. It runs on (1) AAA battery NOT included.
