Description: VW Mk 2 Scirocco or Jetta GLI? 16V (1987 - 1988?) Engine ECU / Knock Box / Sensor Wiring Harness Engine computer and sensor (ECU, knock box, etc.) wiring harness, used. I acquired this with a collection of '80s water-cooled VW parts that included pieces of aparted-out '87 or '88 Mk 2 Scirocco 16-valve and an '89 Jetta GLI 16-valve, and am not sure which this came off of. To that end, I am not sure whether it is 'early' (87-88) 16V or 'late' (89 and up) 16V. Please confirm the ID from the part number and photos, as I am not 100% sure on it. The largest harness plug has part numbers 1928401 and 155906373 on it, and the boot for the other plug has part number 191906376 on it. The piece was removed from the running parts car about 10 years ago and kept in dry indoor storage since then. Having said that, I have no means of testing it now, and it looks like a few smaller wires were cut on removal, there are a couple of slightly discoloured connectors, and that there may have been some damage where it seems to have lost the boot going through the engine compartment bulkhead (it's showing some exposed wiring there - see closeup photo), so it is sold untested, to be used for parts or restoration/rebuild.
