Description: Excellent +++ 146 year old vintage Voigtlander Petzval 5A brass lens with clear optics and a smooth focus mechanism. Owned and used in an old photo studio from the early 1900s that has been passed down in the family. The optics appear to be very clear with some cleaning and age related marks. The exterior has normal brass aging as shown in the photos. It appears to be approximately a 330mm to 340mm focal length and the Voigtlander catalog shows that this is an f/4.5. It has a serial number of 24027. It uses Waterhouse stops but those were not found in the collection. More photos can be supplied if necessary.
