Description: Offered is a Vintage Wolverine Metal Crane Loader Sand Toy. The "W" stamped on the side of the metal rod that holds the hopper it is embossed "Patented 190911911 & 1917". How this toy operates is the trolley is pulled up to the loading cone, which dumps load into car when the car depresses the lever to open the chute. The trolley receives the load from the hopper, and then descends to dump the load at the bottom of the ramp.The toy works well and is in excellent condition! There is no rust on this sand toy! There are some paint scratches here and there, mostly on the hopper. (See pics). A wonderful, early Wolverine style tin litho toy to add to your collection.,
