Description: This is a vintage, Federal Fedar Anastigmat 3.5"/90mm Enlarging Lens with an f/6.3-32 aperture. It has a 24mm thread and is mounted to a 2-5/8 inch/66x66 mm steel lens board. It was made for use with the Federal Enlarger, made in Brooklyn, NY between 1930 and the 1960's and designed for printing 35mm and 2-1/4" negatives. Condition: The item is in good condition, the glass is clean and the aperture opens & closes smoothly. The item can be used as an enlarging lens or added to an antique collection. Some photographers have modified cameras to accept the lens, which creates a pleasing soft image.
