VNTG 1938 Art Deco Chelsea Mantle Ships Bell Clock & Barometer☆Bronze☆Brass Case

Description: Vintage 1938 Chelsea Ship's Bell Clock & Holosteric Weather Barometer in Bronze & Brass Color Metals, nicely aged patina & working ! Monogrammed Presentation GiftUnable to locate a Serial No. on clock after attempting interior inspection. We did not completely disassemble for good reason.. not timepiece experts. However did verify clock movement running & keeping time; we did not advance hands during our 1 hour exam .. see short video of movement included w/rest of our detailed photos & note elapsed time. Cannot confirm the top Holosteric Barometer indicator is accurate only because range is 28 - 31; not familiar w/how to interpret reading.. however, lower measurement "Farenheit Tbermometer" is showing an accurate temperatute. Bronzed metal cases dusplay a nice patinated matte finish, bronze color. Slightest copper color demarcation lines exist, confined to edges only of the top halves of each cade, evidently wear to these tilting cases from handling. The 12 oclock area ontop of clock toward face edge shows a teeny fleabite. The clear face covering of the barometer itself has suffered a loss w/cracks .. likely crystal glass requiring a straightforward replacement.Each face measures a 3" in diameter. In between cases, the vertical mounting frame is brass, as well as the base, which now appears more reddish brass. Felt covers bottom base. Fine 1938 presentation Chelsea clock, monogrammed on top both the clock & barometer.
