Description: Virago Starter Gear Fix UP. Do not throw away your Virago starter gear anymore. This is a proven fix up for Virago starter gear Bendix. This is a retaining washer to keep the starter gear closer to the flywheel. This ring is designed for the engines when starter gear is chewed up and does not engage properly. To make sure that your starter engagement will work properly, the stopper pin/spring must be replaced or enforced. However this retaining washer is for worn gear only. Take a look at the pictures, this washer will help starter motor to push the gear enough forward to engage the flywheel enough without grinding. Any questions, please feel free to ask. Best regards.
