Description: Rare double lp album from the Good Music record Company- The Street Singer, Arthur Tracey. Russian born in what is now Ukraine, and naturalized into the US in 1913- Arthur Tracey was an aclaimed vocalist in the 1930's. Late evening radio listeners tuned in to hear announcer David Ross' introduction ("Round the corner and down your way comes The Street Singer") and Tracy's familiar theme song, "Marta, Rambling Rose of the Wildwood." Good Music Company was a small time label and the lp has that feel- cheaply produced with a thin cardborad cover and generic sleeves. However, this double lp is in pristine condition and should be a addition to any eclectic collection
