This scarf was designed by a prominent Hermès artist Natsuno Hidaka and issued as part of Autumn Winter 2002 collection. The design was inspired by an ancient Persian legend about the demanding princess choosing her prince. Since its issue, the scarf has become one of those “grail” designs, highly desired and sought-after by collectors and connoisseurs alike. The scarf is titled, featuring Hermès logo, copyright, and the artist's signature; the edges are hand rolled, and the original care tag is attached. The scarf comes in the original Hermès orange box with tissue paper and bolduc ribbon. Condition: Superb vintage condition – near mint! The scarf is from my personal collection and is guaranteed to be authentic. It is in excellent, near mint condition – the fabric has a smooth hand and drapes beautifully, the hand rolled edges are plump and full, and the original care tag is attached. The only imperfections to note are a tiny, barely noticeable spot in the middle and a needle hole in the corner near the care tag, depicted on the last two pictures on the listing.
