Description: Vintage 60/70s era Zildjian Crash Ride. I don't know the Zildjian stamp history like I do for the big drum makers. I'm sure with a little research you can narrow it down to a 5 year period. It weighs in at 1757 grams. That puts it in the thin to medium-thin range. It certainly has that classic vintage Zildian sound. I bought the cymbal used on ebay in 2009 and used it up until around 2018. I think it cracked somewhere around 2014. I had it repaired by one of the best in the business and the crack never came back. Of coarse I put the cymbal on light duty post repair. I really haven't used it much in the last few years and my cymbal arsenal has grown considerably so I really don't have much use for it now. I don't recall the tone changing too much after the repair. The crack was very thin and followed the grooves perfectly so the repair was minimal. See pics. There is still a lot of playability left in this cymbal but it must be lighter styles like Jazz, Americana etc. I uploaded a video.. should appear once ebay reviews it.
