Description: Vintage John E Kemple Glassworks Rounded Butter Dish with Lid in "Yuca Amber." Is an intense amber color and very pretty. Cut glass pattern with sawtooth edge. Was made in Palestine Ohio or Kenova West Virginia from late 1940s to 1970s. Has deep pressed fans and stars. 5 inches tall approx. and 7 3/4 wide. Has a lipped dish with ball shape lid. Was used for butter pats or butter balls, not butter sticks. Has a nick on one of the sawtooth at the edge. Please look at pictures closely. This is a beautiful piece for the vintage glass collector or the Cottage Core Home!
