The compass to the front and sides is in a generally good condition showing some cosmetic markings. The compass is maker marked C-E. to the reverse, along with serial number and date of 1918. . Transit clasp in working order. The case is maker marked Modele Dispose which is French and would have been used during the war as a replacement for a British one. The case is In generally good condition with some signs of patina. A compass from WW1 for all interested in our military history.
