Description: Greetings! Thanks for checking out this listing. I'm an alumnus of Haverford College ('84) and received this sweater for my time as a varsity wrestler. I doubt I've worn the garment a half dozen times. My daughter may have worn it a few more times when she was in middle school. Lately I've been of a mind to unburden myself of the keepsakes I've been carrying around with me for decades but rarely (if ever) use. I ran across this in one of my drawers recently and realized this was another item that someone else might appreciate more than me. I've included images of my diploma in at the end of the listing in an attempt to authenticate the garment. The "H" really does stand for Haverford. It seems apropos that it would be black because after I graduated some intrepid students noticed that there was an unusual population of black squirrels on the Haverford campus and decided to rename the college's sports teams the "Black Squirrels" - as opposed to the "Fords", which while economical was rather nondescript. The designers of varsity letter apparel anticipated the discovery. In any case. The garment you see in the photos is what you would receive upon purchase. It is offered for sale as is. If you should be dissatisfied with the item upon receiving it, I'd be happy to accept a return for a full refund.
