Description: Vintage Wooden Russian Nesting Dolls Hand Painted 3 in Set I do not know the maker, I know that I have had for decades. I was not able to find this exact face on any nesting dolls while searching for info. Maybe you know where they originated. There is a chip on the inside lip of the largest doll. You can see it in the images. It does not prevent any of the dolls from nesting or the dolls from being securely held in the largest doll. There are couple nicks in the paint so look at images closely. I've taken pictures of all sides for you to see. Largest doll is 4" tall and 2" wide at base, middle doll is 2" tall and 1 1/4" wide at base and smallest doll is 1 3/4" tall and 3/4" wide at base. All dolls close nicely and fit nicely in each other. As a seller I do my best to represent the product I am selling. I take numerous pictures and make them as clear as possible. With that in mind please remember that these items are vintage or antique which means they are 20 to 100+ years old. They have been around a long time and usually not sitting in a cupboard untouched.
