The telescope still works but the eye piece has chips around the very outside edges and the slide tubes do not stay extended without holding them (loose?). The unit is therefore sold AS IS for repair or for parts with no returns. Cosmetically the telescope has signs of wear and there is some pitting on the chrome finish of the extension tubes.
