When placed vertically in a mixing bowl or jar and pushed up & down the bottom wire whisk rotates to beat/mix/whip ingredients. Firmly attached red wooden handle. No maker's mark. All metal parts are secure and work easily & well. This handy kitchen tool is clean and shows no chips, cracks, dents, broken, missing or repaired parts.
