Description: Vintage White Beaded Floral Design Evening Bag Purse 1960s Safco Bag Japan. This is very pretty, dated circa 1960s- maybe early 1970s at the latest, hand made in Japan - A Safco Bag, purse is signed, measures almost 10 inches across and 5 inches high, pretty beaded handle- some bead loss on handle and a little on purse bottom- see last 3 pictures for detail. There is so much detail, in the beaded pattern, there is a flap closure, pretty gold tone metal accents and frame, closes almost like it has a magnetic strip, I dont know what the style is called. This lovely purse is good to very good, but it is not perfect and it is likely 60 years old! The inside is has some signs of running and moisture stains from age or things left sinide, no odors at all- these markings on the silk fabric must ahve occured long ago. Despire missing beads and a little staining inside, this is a pretty, vintage evening bag, with lots of life and use left and of course will make a lovely accent to decorate a ladies dressing table or vanity.
