Description: Vintage Westinghouse Model H-1821 AM/FM radio, that is a good candidate for restoration. Radio powers up, but only hums loudly, so it will need a little bit of work to get it functioning well. The power cord is in fair condition, with electrical tape near the back panel, and should be replaced. The body of the radio is in very good condition with no chips or cracks (but there are a few scratches that look like cracks (see photos). The body has been polished up with Novus, which is made for polishing plastics and bakelite. The brown mottling in the bakelite stands out well in the sun light and the radio presents well. All of the knobs turn smoothly and properly, and the dial indicator moves properly as well. The grill cloth is in very good condition, with a small hole near the upper right hand corner that can only be seen upon close inspection. Great looking radio to add to your collection.
