Description: This vintage Victor Quality Show Saddle is a VERY rare find! This is a once-in-a-lifetime saddle made by one of the best saddle makers in history – Victor Alexander. The quality of this saddle simply cannot be overstated, and it is in near-perfect condition. The tree is strong, the saddle is solid and heavy, it’s extremely well balanced, the leather is supple and butter soft, the tooling is deep and in wonderful shape, and the silver is plentiful and hand-engraved by silversmiths. This saddle is also comfortable enough to ride all day in! My saddle is in truly amazing condition and it has recently been professionally cleaned. There is some wear on the stirrups and seat that is normal for used condition. This saddle is what I would consider to be dark oil in color with hand engraved sterling silver conchos, corner plates, stirrup plates, horn cap, and name plate – WHICH IS BLANK!!! This makes my Victor unlike any other on the market, because you don’t have to either ride with someone else’s name on the back or buy a non-original plate!! You can have a vintage treasure with your own name engraved on the back! This saddle is stamped Victor Quality into the leather on the latigo holder, the rear latigo holder, and underneath on the frame on both sides. Clark's Feed in Paramount, California was a dealer for them for many years. It has a 16" nicely balanced seat that places you in the proper position and full QH bars which will fit a wide range of horses. I would put it up against anything that is made today without question. If you want show quality that will last a lifetime, this is the saddle to buy! These saddles definitely hold their value so you could always sell it once you're done with it, but trust me, you won’t ever want to be done with it. I’m only selling it because I can’t ride anymore and I want it to be useful. It is a huge wrench to part with it, but I can’t use it now. You will never regret buying this saddle; it truly is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
