Description: ~ I am pleased to offer this Vintage Weksler 12.5" Wooden & Brass Candy Jelly Thermometer from the 1950's ~Condition: The thermometer has a nice aged patina, with a spot of verdigris on the brass cup. Wood base is a deeper brown color that gets darker on the upper handle area. No major scratches or gouges to the wood. The easy to read glass thermometer seems to function properly, but was not tested. My research shows this to be from the 1950's - "The company grew rapidly under Harry Weksler’s leadership and moved to a larger facility in Freeport, New York in 1952".
