Description: This listing is for an axe head made by Walters in Canada. This vintage axe head is in good condition for its age and intended use (see pictures). The only thing done to this head was a trip to the wire wheel and light “dremeling” inside the eye (needs more). The Walters markers mark is still present (see pictures). The poll has been struck through the years and shows slight “mushrooming” (see pictures). There is some light pitting on both cheek faces and the cutting edge is in need of a sharpening for sure (see pictures). After this axe head is hung by its forever owner it would make a great heavy splitty axe for any would be homesteader. Or hang it on the wall as part of your collection.
