Description: This vintage Wadsworth powder compact is a classy piece of history. Made in the United States, it features a beautiful combination of shiny gold and brushed gold on the exterior with 3 stars made from rhinestones in one corner. The compact is thicker at the back than the front. The interior is shiny gold. The top of the powder well is signed WADSWORTH MADE IN USA. The original puff is included. I don’t think the compact was ever used. There has been powder in it but traces only. I think it was there, broke up and was discarded. The rouge spot is empty and never had any. One probably had to purchase it separately and add it to the well. There is a spot for a tube of lipstick. I believe it was the same as the rouge. It was bought separately and added in the color the user desired. The latch closes smoothly. The mirror is clean. Measures 3.5” x 2.75”. The back of the compact measures 0.5” thick and the front is 0.25”. Includes felt sleeve. Excellent vintage condition.
