Description: Vintage Hollywood Regency VANITY SET ~ 2 Glass Perfume Bottles in a Jeweled, Enameled, Gilded Ormolu Filigree Cradle, Possibly Unsigned 'Original by Robert' ~~From an estate collection of vintage and antique perfume bottles~~ Here is a gorgeous set of two (2) elegant glass bottles with fancy dauber tops, nestled in a charming, white-over-gilded-brass-filigree ormolu cradle/holder, which is further decorated on one side with rhinestones, beads and enamel. The set likely dates from the 1940's or '50s and--although I can find no signatures--I believe it was made for the "Original by Robert" Vanity Collection, based on my research. These items had only paper stickers, rather than the plaque that is seen on his jewelry. This set may also have been modified/decorated after purchase. I have seen very similar 'Robert' sets without the white paint, and/or with ormolu decoration on the stoppers. The vintage condition is Excellent--no chips, breaks or visible flaws in the glass bottles or daubers; the cradle is in lovely condition, with one missing rhinestone, on the bottom left, which can be easily replaced, if desired.
