Vintage Trench Watch Dial & Hands Re- Lume Service

Description: TRENCH WATCH DIAL AND HAND RE-LUME SERVICEWALTHAM, ELGIN, ILLINOIS, HAMILTON, ANY BRAND EXPLANATION OF SERVICESRE-LUMING: Porcelain dials are cleaned first, metal dials will be lightly cleaned. Then the hands and dial will be re-lumed with a vintage patina color, as seen in the photos above. The buyer may specify between light, medium, and dark. Dial and hands must be free of any existing lume. Minor remnants of lume is not a problem since cleaning will remove any left over residue.RADIUM REMOVAL: Removal of all and any radium left on the dial & Hands. It will be disposed safely. CRACK REPAIR: Cracks will be removed with cleaning, cracks that are not fully through can NOT be removed. You can tell by rubbing finger or finger nail across the dial you should be able to feel the crack. Cracks can be stabilized with lacquer but this will add a coating to the dial. It is available as an option.FULL SERVICE: I can repair most small chips and hairline cracks. I can also repaint ticks and certain numbers or logos. This service is only for minor damages to porcelain dials as seen in examples in images, major damage can be repaired but I will have to divert you to someone who is an expert. The chip repair is done using an epoxy filler with an enamel top coat. The enamel paint is matched as close as possible to the color of the dial. Lacquer top coat again is optional. (please note these repairs are not perfect, they are not to be admired up close but are an affordable option to making a dial look decent without spending hundreds of dollars getting the enamel re-fired) This also includes if dial and hands need to be removed (century old hands and dials are subject to break, no liability for damages, select this option at your own risk)ORDERING INSTRUCTIONS & TURN AROUND PLEASE DO NOT MAKE A PURCHASE UNTIL CONTACTING ME FIRST!On initial contact please submit any photos, requests, and/or concerns you may have. Once it is approved I will then give you the green light to make the purchase accordingly. Once payment is received your items will be send back on the next business day.
