Description: Vintage 1978 Trek Custom Frame Set Columbus 57 cm 700c USA Lugged TX700 720 Custom vintage 1970s Trek built by an early Trek employee. This may be a 1 of 1 build with some very cool features. Brazed cable pulleys on seattube. Reversed cantilever mounts on seat stays. 3x bottle cage bosses. Under top tube cable routing. Chainstays are longer, close to 720 length. The serial number indicates this is 1978. Serial also points to a TX700, however it's unclear how much is or is not a match to a 78 TX700. Columbus tubing, which is often on the TX900s. Made in USA. Campagnolo dropouts. Our bicycle frames ship wrapped with foam inside a new box. Measurements shown in pictures and description. Any pictured headset or bottom bracket components are included, have not been inspected, may need service. No dents or cracks. Some scratches and marks. One small spot that looks like a nick or ding on the top tube non drive side.
