Description: This Early Vintage Tilted Glass Store Counter Display Jar Features An Embossed Outer Rope Edge Indicating It Was Made To Be An Open Jar (No Lid). It Was Most Likely Used In A Drug Store Or General Store. It Has Inner Straw Marks And Other Imperfections That Are Good Indications Of Age And Authenticity. It Has A Pontil On The Bottom As Well As What Looks Like A Sealed Pontil On The Back Rear Of The Seam. It Stands Approximately 7.5 Inches Tall And Wide And About 8 Inches Front To Back. It Is In Very Good Over All Condition With Some Roughness To Inner Edge. Possible Tiny/Short Hairline On Inner Edge. Imperfections Throughout That Include Bubbles And Inner Straw Marks. These Straw Marks Can Sometimes Be Confused As Cracks But Can Only Be Felt On One Side Of Glass And Feel More Like Smooth Ripples Than Sharp Grooves.
