Description: I’m offering a beautiful vintage sculpted 18 Karat Yellow Gold, Enamel, Diamond, and Ruby cocktail ring by famed Italian designer Pierino Frascarolo. The ring is an approximate size 6.25 (see my photo on ring mandril for size). The weight of ring is approximately 19 grams. The whimsical ring depicts a roaring Tiger whose eyes are two small round rubies accented with a total of 10 small round diamonds. The tigers body is skillfully decorated with golden yellow and black enamel stripes which wrap around your finger to give the look that the tiger is crawling around your finger. The tongue of the tiger is red enamel and its face also has some red and orange enamel accents. This ring is in excellent condition for its age with no chips or cracks to the enamel. Stamped in a plaque inside the ring, with the maker's mark for Frascarolo, the assay marks for the gold and signed, "MODELE DEPOSE F.C. MADE IN ITALY .750 18 KT *347AL" (I have included a photo of this plaque). Frascarolo is considered by many, the David Webb from Italy. His jewelry with enamel animals are sought after by collectors and considered as highly collectible pieces. This ring would make a fabulous addition to anyones estate jewelry collection!
