Vintage Tibetan Bronze Ritual Gau Prayer Box w Buddha Figure & Prayer Cloth

Description: Vintage/Antique Tibetan bronze & copper Gau Prayer Box with small Buddha figure behind glass window. The bronze front is decorated in repousse floral designs and the copper back and sides are plain. There is a prayer cloth inside the back. The back is secured on with a leather cord that shows some wear. The longer leather strap may be a replacement as it appears newer than the closure cord. There is blackish residue scattered over its surface from presumably yak butter. Exact age unknown. 1950 or older, probably 19th - early 20th century. Antique condition as in photos. Box ~2-1/2" H x 2-1/2" W x 3/4" thick. Strap ~ 34" long. ~86.9 grams. Study all pictures as visual description of this item. More pictures available as needed.
