Description: This American Fork & Hoe 54 in. casting rod is in very good condition. I believe this was produced before True Temper bought them out. A very old rod. I cleaned the rod thoroughly and applied Fluid Film to the metal blank to help preserve it. The blank is 6 sided. I also applied U-40 Cork Seal to the handle. There are 3 guides including the tip. The guides are nice and solid. I like the gold colored blank. Kind of rare. The only writings on the rod are on the reel seat. It reads “MFG. By The American Fork & Hoe Co. Geneva, Ohio.” Thanks for looking.
