Description: Fully Play Tested, Vintage 4 LP Lot #203: Country Music with Waylon Jennings, Elvis Presley, Tammy Wynette and Ronnie Milsap Comments: This lot contains four great country records. Well, the Elvis record is part country, part rock n' roll and blues and whatever Elvis does. All of these records were cleaned and then fully play tested. Notes concerning condition and sound quality can be seen below. As a whole, the sound is mostly excellent on these records with some tolerable background record surface noise. Visual Record Condition: The vinyl condition varies from VG to Near Mint. Individual LP grades are shown below. The records are still glossy with varying amounts of surface scuffs / scratches. Ticks and clicks are heard sometimes, but the records play with no skips or sticks in the music and provide satisfying listening experiences. Record Labels Condition: The record labels look great. Jacket Type and Condition: The jackets conditions range from VG to EX with some amount of wear described below. Three of the jackets still have shrink-wrap attached. All of the jackets are still visually pleasing and have been placed in brand new, protective poly outer sleeves to help prevent further wear. Inner Sleeve Type and Condition: See below. The Albums In The Lot: Singer Presents: Elvis Singing Flaming Star And Others - 1968 - Vinyl Condition: Graded VG+. The disc is glossy with some surface scuffs and small scratches. The record plays with excellent sound quality. General background record surface noise is minimal in the music. I do have to mention that at the start of Side 1, the needle jumped while in the lead-in groove, before the music started. Cover Condition: The album cover still has the shrink-wrap on it, although part of the shrink is missing on the back side. The shrink has light wear-marks/stains. The cover looks great though and I gave it a grade of EX. General wear is minimal. There are small corner dents. The spine text looks great. The original, Elvis themed RCA Victor inner sleeve looks great as far as the printed artwork goes, although it does have some seam splits. I've placed the record in a plain white inner sleeve to help preserve that original inner sleeve.Ronnie Milsap - Time-Life Records Country Music Series - 1981 - Vinyl Condition: Near Mint, glossy with a few light surface scuffs. The record is in the original paper inner sleeve which is in good shape. The record plays nearly perfectly with minimal record surface noise and excellent sound quality. Album Cover Condition: The album cover is still in the original shrink-wrap with a sticker on the front. The cover looks near mint except for a crease at the upper left corner. I give the cover a grade of EX.Waylon Jennings - Time-Life Records Country Music Series - 1981 - Vinyl Condition: Glossy Near Mint with a few light surface scuffs. There is a very slight, loose warp visible, but it has no effect on playability. The record plays well and the music sounds great. Background record surface noise is minimal while the music plays. Mild crackle is sometimes heard between songs. I heard a few - but only a very few - light ticks. The record is in a new, replacement inner sleeve. Cover Condition: The cover is in VG+ condition. Surface wear is light. There are a number of small surface crease lines here and there and a small sticker removal mark at the upper right on the front. Edge and corner wear is mild. There is some writing on the back.Tammy Wynette - Your Good Girl's Gonna Go Bad - 1967, Mono - Vinyl Condition: VG. It's glossy but there's also a covering of scuffs and small scratches. The overall sound quality in the music is excellent with some surface noise. There is mild background record surface noise crackle along with occasional ticks/clicks/pops throughout, including some as soon as Side 1 starts. The record provides a great listen though. The record is in a replacement white paper inner sleeve. Cover Condition: VG-. There is still shrink-wrap on the cover but it isn't fully intact, has some stains on it and has peeled back in some spots. There is a price sticker on the shrink from Tommy Edwards' Hillbilly Heaven Record Shop of Cleveland Ohio. The jacket has some discoloration - most noticeable on the back. There is some heavier corner wear on the right side and a short split at the bottom right seam. There is a slight curve/bend near the upper right corner. It looks like that right side of the cover might have moisture to blame for the wear, but it doesn't have a musty odor - just old record aroma. If I were keeping this record, I would remove the shrink wrap, cut out that sticker to save, and enjoy the artwork without having the shrink wrap stains to look through.Shipping Notes: Several different shipping service options are available for you to choose from at check-out.
