Description: This magnificent heirloom Grandmother's Flower Garden is all hand pieced and hand quilted, is well made and still feels a little crisp. The centers are a teal blue green, the second round is a sunny yellow, the third round is the same teal. Many Grandmother's Flower Garden quilts have flowers that share the same sidewalk, but each flower here has its own white sidewalk. The back is a bright, crisp white. The binding is also teal. Each hexagon is about 2.5 inches. Two sides are sort of straight, and the other two sides are scalloped following the contours of the hexagon flowers. As with all vintage quilts, there may be some small, minor, insignificant, diffuse spots, discoloration or what not. Measures approximately 94x71 and shown on a queen bed. If this quilt doesn't make you cry, nothing will! :)
