Description: Vintage Teach-A-Tot Erasable Magnetic Writing Board. This is such a great little magnetic and erasable vintage board that is ready for your home school classroom, work from home office, kids playroom - or any other spot that needs a fun spot for message writing! It is labeled a "Teach-a-Tot "Toy and I believe it was produced by Holgate in the 1950s. The board has wonderful graphics of a small boy practicing his letter writing and a stack of books and school supplies with an apple on top on the bottom. There are 5 lines across the center of the board. All the graphics are in soft red. The background is off-white. The back of the piece is black cardboard. It is both magnetic and works with dry erase markers. The board shows some signs of aging wear but it is really pretty nice for it's age. There are a few very small spots where the paint is either scuffed or scratched (really minimal) and it has a bit of a bowed shape when viewed from the side. Not really a dent, just not perfectly straight any more. No stray writing and the edges are still quite sturdy. Super cute!! Dimensions: 17" x 14"
