Description: GORGEOUS 2 Layers of sheer blue with a lining of rose satin. It makes the dress appear purple/blue depending on the light. Micro pleated double collar. Closure in front where the hook and eye meet. No rips or tears. Some few small white spots on the sheer outer layer in photos. I rarely, if ever use the word pristine, excellent or like new, especially when talking about vintage. It sets up the expectation the item is like brand new. Jewelry, clothing and hats especially can show patina and/or wear, and often do. I sometimes use words like good/great working condition, great item, beautiful, lovely, stunning, etc. This again, does not mean perfect, untouched, or pristine. It means that as a reseller of vintage items I SEE and RESEARCH what else is out there and am offering my opinion. Your opinion may differ, as opinions often do, that's where you need to be diligent about asking specific questions and researching it on your own too, so that YOU have a comfort level with your bid and purchase. Regarding jewelry, I prefer to sell items that do not have loose stones or crystals, or pins that come undone in a second! If this happens, I will disclose this to you. I also try to find things that are more unique to the vintage costume jewelry market. Don't over look the unsigned pieces. They were all once sold for so little and yet, so well crafted.
