Description: Rare barn find! Found this recently in a pick and haven’t seen one before. After a month of collecting info on the board from local collectors it has been agreed that this 7’9 cedar wood skeleton is an early paddle board . Most likely made in the early 40s based off the screws used and the hollow construction. It is also in unfinished condition. No markings of the board ever being skinned and complete. Most likely someone started the build and for whatever reason never finished it. It was stored under a house for over 40 years and shows some weathering in some areas. However all pieces remain in tact. No broken sections or missing pieces. It’s an amazing piece and will display nicely between a couple kookbox boards in my opinion.
