Vintage Studebaker Horn Button 1941-1948 M-Series Trucks & Cars Beautiful Part!

Description: I believe this is a vintage Studebaker horn button that fits M-Series trucks manufactured from 1941-1948. This horn button may also fit some early Studebaker cars. Please make certain it is the part you need for your project before bidding or BIN purchase. Overall, this button is in excellent condition. The colors and chrome are both rich and vibrant. The mounting tabs on the adapter are intact and fully functional. There are no dents, dings, bends, paint touch-ups, breaks or repairs. The adapter is stamped ‘R’ ‘7’ on back center & ‘Patented No. 2061222’ on side (see photos). My patent search indicates this horn button patent was filed on May 4, 1936 and granted on Nov. 17, 1936. There are some light scratches and scuffs on the button face. I’ve tried to show these in the last 5 photos. The button measures ~ 3” in diameter. Given it’s condition, the button looks to be just very lightly used. It is a great looking horn button that will add a beautiful accent to the interior of your Stude truck!
