Description: Vintage large (34") and Heavy (10+lbs) STIFFEL Brass Trophy/Urn Style Table Lamp with 3-way Lighting Comment Regarding Stiffel Lamps: Many sellers of Stiffel lamps claim the lamps are made of solid brass based on appearance and weight. There are no solid brass Stiffel lamps. If there is a solid brass Stiffel lamp I am not aware of it. However, many Stiffel lamps include some small solid brass parts such as fittings, check rings, finial, and base switch but the lamp bodies are not solid brass. Bodies, risers, and bases are made of high-grade cast metal that is brass plated and lacquered. The uninformed might say that their Stiffel lamp passes the magnet test so it must be brass. It will pass the magnet test because a magnet will not stick. The lamp is shown with a vintage Stiffel lamp shade for affect. Due to condition the shade is not included. Notice the wonderful original 4+1/2-inch machined solid brass finial (photo #8) Description and condition: bright brass finish overall height 34 inches height up to bottom of shade harp bracket - 22++1/2 inches base diameter - 6+3/4 inches bulge diameter (body) - 6+1/2 inches Leviton brass finish socket shell with 3-way keyed standard size socket (lamp holder) Stiffel label on socket shell original solid brass Stiffel finial original base felt weight - over 10 pounds The lamp is in clean, excellent condition, having a wonderful bright gleam.
